Welcome to Hacienda
The little town of Hacienda in the resort area of Sonoma County's Russian River, came into being as a destination resort in the late 1920's to early 1930's. It was built around a nine-hole golf course, and the original deeds gave homeowners access to all the recreational facilities, which included tennis courts and a beach on the best natural swimming hole on the Russian River...

Membership
In the 60's the Hacienda Improvement Association acquired title to Hacienda Beach. Membership dues take care of insurance and fees mostly surrounding the beach, but as an organization the Association gets involved in all aspects of community concerns.
